Time for another round of meals I didn't have to cook.
Dinner in the Grand Dining Room (Day 4)
Spiced-rub beef tenderloin roast with vegetable timbale and chateau potato
Sirloin steak - black angus beef with french fries and garlic butter rosette
(From the Jacques Pepin Signature Dishes Section)
The french fries came in their own bowl much later. I wasn't going to mention it but I guess the waiter noticed a while later when there was an extra bowl sitting waiting to go out.
Pasta with choice of tomato sauce
(From the Side Dish Always Available section)
I thought being listed under the Side Dish heading meant that this would be an appetizer sized portion.
This bowl could have easily been its own meal.
Dessert Menu
Milda's Coconut Cheese Flan
(Don't know that I've ever heard the words coconut and cheese together)
Souffle of the Day
(I think this was orange flavored. Reminded me of taking a drink of orange juice and holding it in my mouth. The flavor was so sweet that I couldn't finish more than a couple bites.)
Dinner (Day 6) Apparently I was so hungry I didn't grab a picture of tonight's menu. So who's up for a round of Guess That Dish! Seriously because I can't remember what we ordered.
I can tell this is Shrimp Cocktail at least. ;)
Some sort of very cheesy gnocchi
Today's entree brought to you by the color green:
Fear not, I remembered to photograph the dessert menu!
Chocolate mousse tart
Cocoa sorbet - this reminded me of a fudgesicle with that icy taste of being stuck in the back of the freezer for too long.
Macadamia Rocky Road Ice Cream - Dad says this didn't taste like Rocky Road. Rocky Road is one of his favorite ice cream flavors.
Breakfast (Day 5)
(When I remembered to ask for two hash browns)
Waves Grill
Hot dog sans bun - I love how they still gave me the crispy onion strings on the side and a tiny bowl of relish.
Texan Burger - beef patty, cheddar, onion compote, crispy bacon, pickled gherkin, and barbecue sauce
